Introduction
Stepping Stones Pre-School has been registered since 1982 on the Early Years Register and the compulsory and voluntary parts of the Childcare Register. It is run by a voluntary committee. We operate from a purpose-built unit, comprising of two classrooms, in the grounds of J. H. Godwin Primary School, in Blacon, Chester. The pre-school opens five days a week from 9am to 3pm, term time only. Children attend for a variety of sessions. Children have access to an enclosed outdoor play area. We can receive funding for the provision of free early education for two-, three- and four-year-old children, we also support children with special educational needs and/or disabilities.
